Welcome to Rebmul's Isle! This is section of my website will serve as a partition where I'll keep each installment of the WIP story involving my two favorite Characters! August and Reese! I've been tinkering with this little love story since about this time (January 2026) of last year and I have a flash drive full of little stories and what I call scenes within this world and around August and Reese! Feel free to explore the flat unordered list below from entry 00001 and beyond, brows the story as it currently stands in a semi-cronological order, or look into more character focused writitngs under August and Reese!
August is a bookworm of a man with an intrest in antiquated means of mideval medicine! He's taken several first aid classes, and knows more about healing the injured in the 1400s than most historians.
August is also a dedicated sleeper. He's in bed and asleep by 9:45 P.M. sharp! This isn't done out of a respect for the religeon of REM sleep, but because of a phenomenon he experences after sleep takes him. When he draws his last breath before sleep hits, the exhale sends him down and into the void of sleep. Then he openes his eyes and suddenly, he's a different person. August the bookstore cashere is now August the Healer.
This place where August uses his healing knowledge is Rebmul's Isle (Capitial of the isle Rebmul's siti), a fantastical world that's technological advances mirror 14th century Earth.
Reese is a man with a sharp mind, a passing intrest in H.E.M.A, and a lot of (what he calls) useless skills & knowledge in things not quite relavent to his day to day. He works as a Barista at Cold Cup Cafe in Seaside City, but finds time to be a hobbiest motorcycle mechanic.
His passing intrest in swordsmanship eventually lands him in one of August's dreams, where August continues to find him as a recurring character.
In Rebmul's Isle, Reese is a sellsword with shocking acclaim from the local lord.
